A volunteer agency formed in 1907 to provide antenatal and neonatal care in New Zealand. Its full name is the Royal New Zealand Plunket Society.
Named after Victoria Alexandrina, Lady Plunket, wife of Sir William Lee Plunket (1864–1920), the Governor General of New Zealand 1904–10.
